The perfect sweet to add to your Iftar menu and Eid lunch; Layali Libnan (Lebanese Night).
Instructions:
In a pot, add the milk, semolina, and sugar. Cook for few minutes until slightly thick. Add blossom water for that aroma. Stir the mixture from time to time. In a separate bowl, prepare the sugar syrup — add 2 cups of sugar, 1 cup water, and 2 tablespoons of lemon juice. Here is a trick for our crowd with a sweet tooth — bring this sugar syrup to boil, then lower the heat and cook until slightly thick. Serve Layali Liban in a dish and pour hot sugar syrup and cream all over.
You can also garnish the sweet with some chopped pistachios for better taste!
