We have taken on the challenge of showering a variety of recipes on you for the most interesting ingredient; Halloumi – the magical cheese that does not melt! Halloumi can be fried, grilled, roasted and can even be used as a substitute to meat for our vegetarian crowd.

How about we say we’ve got you a recipe with mozzarella sticks and fries, all in one for you? That’s right, we have an amazing yet very easy recipe for our crowd that’ll make you reach the 9th cloud!
Preparation:
Take a big bowl, toss in your halloumi sticks, sprinkle oregano, salt and paprika on it. Now roll it, shake it and victory! We’ve got it all spiced up.
It’s time to dump it all in the air fryer on 200°C for 15 minutes.
You can pan fry as well. Grab onto a pan, drizzle some olive oil and place your halloumi sticks evenly leaving enough space for you to flip them without breaking or just simply go Gordon Ramsey and shake up your pan tossing that halloumi up in the sky and back to your pan perfectly (only if you can) and voila! You are done.

All you ever need in your life is a squeaky cheesy goodness for your soul, to go on a trip to a food coma and a Grilled Halloumi and Eggplant Bake is your ride to it. This delicious meal is a quick and healthy dinner which is super suitable for our dear vegetarian friends. Golden crispy crust, salty cheesylicious slices on top of a tomato vegetable sauce with a slight kick of zing, perfect for bread dunking!
Preparation:
Take a lidded fry pan and heat up that olive up. Toss in onion and garlic, let them soften for good 5 minutes. Add in your zucchini, cumin and smoked paprika to the pan and cook for further 5 minutes until they soften too.
Pour in the tomato puree, honey, salt, pepper and squeeze in half a lemon. Add half a glass of water and cover it with lid before a blast of tomato drops and win against all odds!
Let that rest for the next 10 minutes until it cooks and get grillin’
Preheat that grill to very hot!
Check if the tomato sauce has softened and thickened, if so, cut the halloumi cheese into thin slices, place on top of the tomato sauce, place eggplant slices and brush over with oil.
Pop under the griller for about 5 minutes until the halloumi and eggplant get slightly crispy. Slide a butter knife over the hidden golden halloumi and feel the crispiness. Garnish with dry basil.

Let’s replace meat with halloumi for all kinds of scrumptious meals, this Roasted Halloumi Fajitas will satisfy your rumbling tummy. Thanks to its robust, grill-able texture, halloumi cheese is so much fun to cook with.
Preparation:
Off to the kitchen and pre-heat your oven to 210 °C or 450 °F and while that takes up on the heat, let’s get chopping! Slice the halloumi and onion.
Next up, take a small bowl and mix up all the spices to get your fajita seasoning all ready to sizzle up your halloumi!
Grab onto those halloumi slices and onion on your chopping board, place them nicely and evenly on a baking sheet and brush olive oil all over. Sprinkle the fajita seasoning over them.
Take of a spatula to mix everything together and drizzle with more oil on the top for a crunchier fajita halloumi.
Slide it in the oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the halloumi is cooked to your liking and sprinkle the final dish with chili flakes and hot red chili.
