Warm weather and deliciously ripe fruits at the local market call for homemade popsicles! Many popsicles come with a surplus of health benefits due to the special ingredient, Vitamin C. It is known for maintaining the immune system, bones, teeth, and a plethora of other necessities in our bodies. All of this while helping you cool off simultaneously sounds like popsicles are a summer essential. 

 

Though almost all popsicles are healthy and refreshing, some variations are more providing than others as they contain added benefits of Potassium, Vitamin A, and Antioxidants. Rejuvenate yourself for your longest holiday and reward yourself for making it to another summer.

 

The colorful tastes will send you straight to your garden watching your children play on the slip and slide behind a white picket fence as you lay on the sunbed revitalizing yourself and then watching the smiles grow on your kids’ faces when you hand them a popsicle of their own.

Green in Pink Mist

Chew bits of citrusy strawberry evened out by the sweetness of kiwi and watermelon giving you the tropical vibes!

Directions

In a blender add kiwi, strawberries and pieces of watermelon. Blend them until smooth. Pour into the popsicle molds, add bits of strawberries and kiwi. Freeze them overnight and enjoy on a sunny day by the pool!

 

The Lantana 

Mango, raspberry and orange are the favorite triplets for mouth-watering sensations. They are summer’s big pick-me-up ready to go fruits accompanying you at the beach.

Directions

In a blender add mango and raspberry. Pour in orange juice and give it a good mix. Blend them until smooth. Pour into the popsicle molds, and freeze them overnight.

 

Scarlet Marbling

To all our strawberry milkshake and cheesecake lovers, get ready for Scarlet Marbling – go up a notch with this unique taste.

Directions

In a blender add strawberries and blueberries. Pour in laban and until smooth. Pour into the popsicle molds, add bits of strawberries and cream cheese for that cheesecake touch. Freeze them overnight and devour them for dessert post lunch!

 

Rainbow

We’re all about trends – tie-n-dye shirts at the park with a rainbow popsicle in hand filling your mouth with a whirlwind of flavors from different kinds of fruits is what summers should feel like.

Directions

In a blender add lime juice, strawberry, blackberry, blueberry, and orange. Blend until smooth. Pour into the popsicle molds, add bits of strawberries, blackberries and blueberries. Freeze them overnight.

 

Mint Chocolate

What really provides a more cooling sensation than mint and is just as delicious? Cooling mint combined with sweet chocolate is the perfect blend of tasty and refreshing. 

Directions

In a blender add chocolate and mint leaves. Pour in laban and give it a good mix. Pour mixture into the popsicle molds, add bits of your favorite chocolate for that crunch. Freeze them overnight and enjoy!
