In today’s episode, our talented chef, Lady Spatula along with the ever lovely influencer, Nadia (Nadiashahrilmenon), has got some refreshing salad in making to balance out our iftar meals.

While our Ramadan tables are full of carbs, we’ve got you a healthy yet tasty bowl of greens; Fattoush Salad.

Instructions:

In a deep pan, bring some oil to heat, add the pita bread and fry until crisp. Meanwhile, chop some tomatoes, onions, radishes, lettuce, and mint leaves. Add all to a bowl. For the dressing, in a small bowl, add olive oil, minced garlic, pomegranate molasses, and lemon juice. Mix them well and pour them over the vegetables. Toss them together, add to a bowl, top it up with crispy pita bread, sprinkle a dash of sumac, and serve immediately.
