Fruit Teas are becoming a new staple everyone wants to try. Iced or hot, fruit teas are packed with antioxidants and flavors creating the perfect summer balance we’ve all been waiting for.

When aiming for that great summertime, fruit teas can be your new soda pops!

 Raspberry Iced Tea

A chilled iced tea is a cure to your heatstroke in this scorching sun. A twist of raspberry to the tea can fill your heart with all the sweetness you need to fill your heart. Along with the flavorful raspberry and aromatic tea leaves, this tea is packed with antioxidants and anti-inflammatory properties to spike your happy hormones. A sip by the pool right after a great swim, oh the joy!

Directions

  • Steep tea in boiling water.
  • In a large pan, add 1 cup of water, raspberries, and honey. Reduce heat to low-medium. Simmer until raspberries break apart and turn into a sauce.
  • Add raspberry sauce to tea. Drink it hot or let it cool for about 30 minutes. Refrigerate until cold – about 2 hours
  • Strain contents through a sieve, leaving the clear liquid. Garnish with mint leaves and serve.

 Lemon Black Tea

When life gives you lemons, make some tea! A quick pick-me-up energy booster that hosts multiple health benefits. It detoxifies your body, improves focus, and boosts heart health. An addition of honey or ginger will make your tea even better. A cup in the morning will leave you energized for a couple of hours.

Directions

  • Cut the lemon into slices and remove the seeds
  • Brew a cup of black tea, and keep aside to cool down.
  • Add 2 slices of lemon into the black tea
  • Sprinkle some rock sugar. Stir for the flavors to blend in. Serve

 Mango Green Tea

Visit the Caribbean Islands with this popular tropical drink. Not only do you get the soothing benefits of green tea but also the fruity sweetness of mangoes. Serve it as a fancy drink on an outdoor summer brunch!

Directions

  • Brew green tea with water, leave aside to cool off.
  • Drizzle honey and stir well.
  • Add ice cubes and mango puree into the green tea and give it a good mix.
  • Once the flavors blend in, strain into another glass.
  • Top with mango cubes. Swoop in a straw and fork.

Enjoy a bite of sweet mango with every sip!

Peach Tea

Peach Tea is a popular beverage that is consumed widely in its most unhealthy form. A homemade pretty-in-pink iced tea infused with natural sweeteners is not just an essence of beauty, but also does wonders for tired and dull skin. With peach being a great source of vitamin C, it brightens up your skin, leaving you feeling younger than ever.

Directions

  • Combine honey and water to make syrup
  • Brew mint tea and let it cool down
  • Puree the peach and add to the brewed tea along with the syrup
  • Pour into a cup full of ice cubes and serve.

Fruits to your teas make the perfect blend you need to stay on track while not consuming a lot of sugar. Experiment with a range of fruits of your choice and surprise yourself with the flavors you create!
